STANDARD RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

As we are a small Diving Resort, late cancellations and no-shows really affect our business, therefore our deposit and cancellation policy is as follows:

INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS

To confirm your reservation into a fixed booking in this period, we prefer to have a deposit for the room of 2 nights and a Rp 800.000 prepayment towards a dive package. You can deposit more for convenience or you can pay at the end of your stay. We don’t require to fully prepay a dive package you intend to do. You can just pay the remainder of the mix-and-match package of boat and cheaper house reef dives that you did at the end of your stay according the package price you fall into. The advance payment is to keep the room booking secured for you, but just so you know: we will use it as cancellation fee if for some reason you may have to cancel.

Lumba Lumba Diving Centre charges cancellation fees of the paid deposit as follows:

• More than 4 weeks before scheduled arrival date: free of charge*
• Less than 4 weeks before scheduled arrival date: 2 nights per room*
• Less than 2 weeks before scheduled arrival date: 2 nights per room & Rp 800,000 for the diving package*

* These are the general cancellation terms for all packages with the exception of Group/Agent bookings. Always minus bank transfer fees. Any additional made payments can be completely refunded. 

GROUPS/AGENT BOOKINGS 

You can make a tentative reservation first, then to secure a group reservation into a booking, we usually ask a 50% pre-payment at least two months before planned arrival to be transferred to our bank account. The rest 50% can be paid minimum 4 weeks before arrival.

Lumba Lumba Diving Centre charges cancellation fees at a percentage of the package price as follows: 

• More than 4 weeks before scheduled arrival date: free of charge*
• Less than 4 weeks before scheduled arrival date: 50% of the package*
• Less than 2 weeks before scheduled arrival date: 100% of the package*

For the cancellation of individual members within a group booking:

• Please note that the cancellation by member(s) within a group may either result in a price increase for the whole group.

• For the cancellation of less than 20% of group: 4 up to 8 weeks prior to arrival: there is no fee (however it may result in a price increase for the whole group)
• Less than 4 weeks before scheduled arrival date: 50% of the package*
• Less than 2 weeks before scheduled arrival date: 75% of the package*

• Cancellation of more than 20% of group participants follows entire group cancellation terms stated above.

*Always minus bank transfer fees. If any, refunds will be done at the earliest one months after receiving the transfers. Any additional made payments can be completely refunded.
